PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Here's a visual.
As a human: Light brown and curly hair, green eyes, sun tanned skin with freckles on his shoulders and face. He's lean and has chopstick arms but he's also stronger than he looks.
As Sea monster: He has purple fins instead of hair, green eyes with yellow sclera and elongated pupils. Purple/blue scales cover all his body, a tail with a large caudal fin, fins instead of ears, sharp fangs, legs with fins on the back, webbed feet and hands.
DEMEANOR: Friendly, curious, very active, and easy-going...unless you're rude to his friends or him, in which case he's always ready to throw down (it would be like angering a chihuahua, take that as you will). He hides his real feelings of loneliness and lack of self-worth, and has some petty strong abandonment issues.
ABILITIES: He turns human when dry and keeps his sea creature appearance when touched by any kind of liquid (rain, saltwater, tears, etc). As a sea creature he has the same abilities as a siren/mermaid: can breathe underwater, can swim really fast, and is not affected by deep sea pressure. Sea monster's eyes also shine/reflect light in the dark, and unless it's totally pitch black, he can see well even if the place is badly lid.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Nothing noteworthy as a human, as a sea monster his biology is basically ???? Who knows.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: None I can think of.

MENTAL: If you want to read the mind of a 14 years old teen, sure, go ahead.
MIMICRY: He will either be amused or confused, go ahead. He's not too hard to mimic.
VIOLENCE: He will fight back to the best of his ability but he's only a teen with average strength. That said, if he's in his real sea monster form, he's got sharp claws and teeth, and he would use them.
MAGIC: I'd like to be asked first but, in general, yes.
